ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Engage daily with the Project Team, MOC Team, and other Teams in Experimental Installations Department and from the Technology Platforms of ETCA to realize the Teams goals and Department goals.
- Comply with HSSE & SP policy guidelines when performing, supervising, managing assigned tasks. Support to HSSE for safety assessments, HEMP reviews, and involvement in incident investigations.
- Develop and prepare project schedules showing critical path and sequence of activities for reaching desired milestones and project outcome
- Prepare and update project histograms showing actual and projections for engineering and construction resources. 
- Support the strategic planning of FTE resources for key Teams in the Department
- Develop and communicate weekly and monthly progress reporting via dashboards and visual displays at project level and portfolio level including financials, milestones, critical path, and scope changes.
- Support risk management workshops, control and communicate scope changes, maintain risk register, and track mitigation plans in line with TECOP and non-technical risks
- Based on progress of projects and changes to the base line plan, communicate any corrections/revisions based on engineering progress and report out accordingly
- Contribute to regular updates of Project Management guidelines, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and Ways of Working within Experimental Installations Department and ETCA.
- Work actively to develop and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute actively to lessons learned processes. 

ABILITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 
- Project Engineering, Bachelor or University degree, or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
- Approximately 4 to 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas and New Energies sectors
- Advocates a strong HSSE culture and performance in the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam and has demonstrated ability to provide safety leadership during all project phases.
- Experience with Shells Project Management Framework (PMF) and accreditation towards Level 1 SPA Assessment, IPMA Level C, or similar are considered an advantage
- Understanding of experimental research installations and site specific knowledge and experience are considered an advantage.
- Capability to aggregate data from different repositories, analyzing such data and projecting trends and overviews that can help influencing strategic thinking
- Knowledge and experience using tools such as Cost Estimating and Cost Control tools, Primavera, Microsoft Projects, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBi, Microsoft Azure, SAP. Other tools are considered an advantage
- Support the preparation of integrated schedules for each project in the Project Portfolio and selected MOCs in the MOC Portfolio.
- Understanding risk management and capable of producing probabilistic risk assessments for specific projects
- Fosters and promotes the creation and utilization of benchmarking databases, information and lessons learned from past projects and portfolios to prepare estimates, plans and schedules for new projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with staff from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds at all levels of the organization.
- Written and spoken English is mandatory, fluent in Dutch is of great value.
- Shares a passion for business improvement, integration, and new technology deployment and has a high level of achievement drive and cooperative work ethic
- Capability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and achieve agreed deadlines. When applicable, demonstrate resilience when working under stretched deadlines and milestones.
- Demonstrate a strong personal commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) through collaboration across functional and cultural boundaries.
