The Production unit ONEgas EAST (Offshore NL) is delivering around 5.4 Mln Nm3 gas via 27 production locations from the southern North Sea to shore. The production is coming from six manned locations and nineteen unmanned locations and are divided in the clusters: JDA (HiCal/LoCal) and Nogat/NGT. The gas is produced to the onshore gasplant in Den Helder where it gets treated to meet the required specifications. Maintained equipment is critical for a safe and reliable production from the platforms and treatment in the Den Helder onshore facility. Aim is to maintain the equipment with high reliability at optimal life & cycle cost. First time right in execution and high scheduling compliance are important key results. Purpose & accountability The Mechanical Work Preparer role will be discipline specific and part of the ONEgas EAST maintenance execution department based in Den Helder, i.e. with a core competency in workpreparation to improve & maintain mechanical (safety critical) equipment & piping. As the person who diagnoses the problem and determines the scope of the solution, this person is expected to be highly respected, competent in their discipline and able to collaborate between many different stakeholders such as IAP, operations, maintenance engineering disciplines, vendors, CP. The workpreparator serves as the critical connect between frontline delivery and onshore support, continuously managing and improving the maintenance process. This essential role:  Diagnoses the cause of the problem in collaboration with the frontline and specialized vendors.  Packages the work with the tasks, disciplines, materials and services to effectively complete the work.  Maintains an overview of the date constraints continually to ensure work is scheduled when there are resources and access available.  Understands prioritization of work to allow appropriate timing and efforts to prepare Qualifications, skills and requirements  Industry based discipline qualification for work preparing mechanical equipment and experience with the below skills is a pre. o Welding o Inspections & QAQC o Making engineering drawings o Fitter skills like torque & tensioning. o Reading, interpreting and applying information from files, drawings, catalogues, reports and manuals.  Experience with and resilient against high demand workload and stress.  Demonstrated mindset of delivery to the business needs.  Stationed in Den Helder office  Master of Dutch and English language is mandatory.  Fit for offshore travel  Expected to perform regular offshore visits.  Knowledge of safety hazards and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments  The ability to maintain effective working relationships with other personnel including operators, vendors, contractors, subordinates, peers and superiors.  Experienced in holding activity collaboration and scheduling sessions across many stakeholders.
