As a team member of the Workshop, you support the C&WI field service onshore and offshore teams in the delivery, maintenance, and repair of downhole & surface equipment in their day-to-day operations. As a working team member, the Senior Workshop Technician is the first point of contact for the technicians in terms of daily work. In his position he takes care of, and oversees at the same time, the execution of preventive maintenance and repairs well services tools and equipment, and the preparation of requested materials to the benefit of the field activities. Also, the senior workshop technician coordinates the work scope to make sure that everything is delivered on time, in full, and with the correct certifications. Responsibility and duties · Prepares, maintains, and repairs Wireline, Wellhead Maintenance and Well Testing tools & equipment. · Checks materials on usability, sizing, mechanical dimensions. · Registers all materials certification and documentation in a structured way and processes it in the material management system. · Uses the material management system to enable tracking & tracing of tools & equipment. · Complies with global CWI/Wells technical standards and work processes. · Performs all work according to Shell standards · Oversees that the tasks mentioned above are executed correctly. · Coaches the workshop technicians to the benefit of their competence development. · Provides functional steering to workshop technicians and possible temporary staff with regards to daily work scope. · Coordinates the work scope as per planning (material requests “MR’s” and maintenance schedules) to make sure that everything is prepared and delivered on time, in full, and with the correct certifications to the field service. o Among others, monitors and maintains stock levels with respect to the upcoming work scope. Qualifications & Skills · MBO-4 education work level · Good verbal and written skills · Both practical and theoretical technical landscaped with an eye for quality and detail · Leading character, act as a role model · Team player · Well Services equipment knowledge (Slickline / Wellhead maintenance) · Computer skills for the benefit of communication and administrative processing
