 The Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor report to the Area Construction Manager / Area Construction Lead.

Responsibilities:
• Ensures all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and consumables are installed and utilized efficiently and that the work is being performed in conformance with the contract, RIIG project practices, procedures and standards, and in accordance with the schedule, budget and contract
• Coordinates the activities with the construction partners assigned to the project
• Ensures workforce members are properly and adequately trained and knowledgeable of project specifications, safety requirements, and work procedures
• Monitors the activities of construction partners and ensures compliance with HSSE, quality and security requirements
• Maintains an active role in the development of the RIIG project HSSE & “Care for people” culture by making HSSE a natural part of all work performed
• Provides management, supervision and coordination of the subcontracted work
• Ensures, monitors that construction partners / contractors execute field construction activities in accordance with the contract, project documents, cost estimates, schedules, safety standards and quality standards
• Controls project schedule and cost through the efficient use of construction resources including manpower, materials, tools and equipment
• Provides input for the development of project budgets and schedules
• Communicates daily and weekly planning down to the construction partner foreman level
• Determines the optimal manpower levels to safely and efficiently execute the work to achieve schedule milestones
• Monitor’s manpower levels to ensure conformance with the construction plan
• Monitor’s productivity and cost and communicates, enforces corrective action with construction partner, as necessary, to maintain the budget and schedule
• Identifies potential scope changes and develops the information needed to support RIIG project Change Log
• Supports the advance work packing program on the project
• Maintains current knowledge of the contractual obligations and commitments of construction partners
• Executes the work in accordance with the RIIG project quality plan’s & practices
• Enforces effective and efficient use of construction equipment and control of permanent plant materials and equipment, small tools, consumables, and supplies etc. 

Specific Experience requirements:
• 15+ years’ experience in the Electrical and Instrumentation discipline in the chemical, petrochemical, or renewables energy industry
• Experience with field electrical & instrumentation including works in Substations, field auxiliary rooms, Cable pulling in trenches and inspections & loop-checks • Advanced computer skills with packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and common construction industry document management systems. Experience with 3D review software tools
• Electrical & Instrumentation Contractor experience is a pre.
