The Scrum Master is a servant-leader for the Scrum Team helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. The Scrum Master helps those outside the Scrum Team understand their interactions with the Scrum Team: Ensures Scrum is understood and related activities are executed in alignment with Shell standards, Guides the team throughout the iterative software development process, Sets up retrospectives, sprint reviews or sprint planning sessions, Shields the team from interruptions during the sprint, Removes obstacles that affect the team, Manages communications / interactions within the team and with external stakeholders to maximize the value created by the Scrum Team. Manages large operational or tactical iterative development projects. A Project Manager leading small-to-medium projects of moderate complexity and typical project size: fewer than 10 FTE OR participates as a member of a project team for larger and more complex projects. Quickly earns the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders. Resolves conflict and delivers tough messages with grace. Continually updates relevant business stakeholders of project status.

Additional Job Details:    

 6+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of Project Management and Agile experience 

• Agile experience is must

 • Scrum Master certification is preferred

 • Must be strong in stakeholder management, risk management, cost management and change management

 Responsibilities: 

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle adhering to the Shell Project Delivery Framework (PDF) methodology and other standards at a scale of up to $2M, with up to 20 team members;

 • Quickly build and leverage relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders and understand their priorities. 

• Agree and build an agreed list of deliverables as defined by the Product Teams and key stakehokders; Execute the required governance approach

 • Understand business or project goals and business context at all stages of the lifecycle, and particularly when responding to challenges and change. Recommend acceptable courses of action where appropriate; 

• Experience planning and leading of Agile projects and educating stakeholders and others involved while managing a project 

• Experience in Agile tooling (ex -VSTS) is a must.

 • Demonstrated learning agility in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations. 

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

 • Strong stakeholder management skills - including experience coaching stakeholders.
